This was very nice. I love that moment when two people realize they exist, and for no one but each other. But what makes this special is watching it happen through a mother's eyes, seeing that circle revolve and come back around, and her pride in knowing that she raised him right, and he is indeed a strong and loving man.
Aww, thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad you like this. :)

Beautifully written, Merin. I have always admired the friendship between Legolas and Gimli, and you have done an exceptional job showing the growth of that relationship. Legolas is great in how he seems put off, but corrects himself when he knows it is not right to hold a grudge. Even Gimli is humbled here, partly because of his admiration for Galadriel. I especially liked how Legolas told the story of Galadriel and her hair. Nice touch. Excellent job! You are a marvelous writer.
Author's Response: oh wow, I didn't see this review. Thank you for your kind words, Idril!! :) Maybe one day soon I'll have a go at writing something again!
