Eek! Erestor's for it now! But there definitely needs to be a judgement. There's no way Erestor can be allowed to get away with what he did to Melpomaen and all his other victims.
Author's Response: I think Erestor is now realising that no matter what someone does they always pay in the end lol Thank you for your lovely comment - I am so pleased you are enjoying the story xxx
I'm glad Glorfindel worked it out in the end. I was wondering how Erestor had killed Miggins, but had forgotten about the sedatives not working on elves. Clever! Now to heal Erestor of his sadistic tendencies!
Author's Response: I think it will take some time to heal Erestor of his sadistic tendencies - in fact I know it will because the story of his rehabilitation is in Dark Judgement lol I am glad you enjoyed the story and thank you for your comments :)
It would be a shock for them if diamonds were worthless in Valinor. I don't know what job Erestor would be good for except assassin!
Author's Response: If diamonds were useless in Valinor they would be truly screwed lol Thank you for your comment - I am so pleased you are enjoying the story xx
So Erestor admits he's a killer! The thing is, does he want to change? He doesn't sound that repentant to me. Either way, Glorfindel's in for a rough time.
Author's Response: I doubt he is repentant at all. Glorfindel really is in for a rough time, if only he could see it :) Thank you for your lovely comment - I am pleased you are enjoying the story xx
Yay! Glorfindel finally heard the call. Erestor still has a lot of explaining to do, though.
I had to giggle over seasick Cirdan. Tolkien really doesn't seem to have got much right, does he?
Author's Response: Erestor has a hell of a lot of explaining to do otherwise the reader will be left totally confused lol Tolkien got hardly anything right if Glorfindel is to be believed. I am pleased you are still enjoying the story. Thank you for your lovely comment xxx
Well if Erestor adores Glorfindel, he's got a funny way of showing it. I'm not surprised Glorfindel is afraid of hospitals. I'm interested in hearing what Erestor has to say.
Author's Response: Erestor is a law unto himself and doesn't have the same moral structure as most people, even now. More coming soon :) I am pleased you are still enjoying the story. Thank you for your lovely comment xxx
There aren't many people alive left to be suspects any more. By elimination, I think it's either Cherri or Fern :)
Author's Response: The story is fast running out of suspects, but the identity of the killer might surprise you! I am pleased you are still enjoying the story. Thank you for your lovely comment xxx
Ha! I wondered if any of the medical staff would comment on Glorfindel's ears. Personally I think Glorfindel says he didn't like the film because he was miffed he got written out. I can see him in the cinema, all excited as he waited for his bit. I wish I could have seen the look on his face when Arwen turned up :D
Author's Response: Yes, I can imagine Glorfindel sitting down at the cinema, excitedly wondering how they would portray him and then getting supremely miffed because he wasn't in it. He probably went to a first showing as well lol I am pleased you are still enjoying the story. Thank you for your lovely comment xxx
Eek! Fern - hurry up! I didn't expect Eddie to stab Glorfindel. Obviously Glorfindel didn't, either, or he'd have got out of the way.
Now that the gates and doors are open I hope it's just helpers who arrive, not anyone evil.
Author's Response: Who knew Eddie had it in him to take any action himself without a heavy around! Helpers are on the way :) I am pleased you are still enjoying the story. Thank you for your lovely comment xxx
At least Honey has shown Glorfindel that Erestor must have really changed if he tried to protect her baby. It's very sad - I'm going to have to imagine Honey and her baby in a better place along with Melpomaen now :(
Author's Response: Erestor has some sense of morality, but not much. Honey has had a rough deal, so Miggins deserved all that he got. I am pleased you are still enjoying the story. Thank you for your lovely comment xxx
How long is Honey going to hang around? Things could get awkward. I suppose it's an incentive to find the murderer quickly, assuming that's what Honey wants. So sad about her baby :(
Author's Response: More about Honey very soon - I think Glorfindel is wondering the same thing lol I am pleased you are enjoying the story - thank you so much for your comment :) xx
I think my arteries furred up just reading about that breakfast. It's a good thing the next chapter is already up because I need to know what's up with Honey's face.
Author's Response: Honey's face is pretty shocking! I would love the breakfast :) I am pleased you are enjoying the story - thank you so much for your comment :) xx
I'm not much of an Elrond fan, but it's good that he finally discovered what Erestor was truly like and showed Glorfindel what a loving relationship should be like. How sad for Glorfindel, to wait for thousands of years, waiting for a call that never came.
Author's Response: I think Elrond suspected but as a believer in fair play he didn't have enough evidence to go after Erestor. It seems rather weak of him given his position though. I am pleased you are still enjoying the story - thank you for your comment :) x
How terrible. Poor Melpomaen. I'll just have to believe he was soon reborn in Valinor and lived a happy life there. I'm glad you said it's uphill from now on, because I really hate Erestor at the moment!
Author's Response: Not giving away what happens to Melpomaen but he is in the story again towards the end. Everyone really hates Erestor at this point of the story - my intention exactly lol Thank you for your comment - I am glad you are still enjoying the story xx
Oh no! How could Erestor get away with such cruelty without anyone else knowing? Poor Glorfindel. Erestor has completely fooled Elrond, or so it would seem. I expect Erestor's arranged it so that no one would believe Glorfindel, even if he told them what Erestor was really like.
Author's Response: Erestor is truly a vile person who revels in extreme evil - in Dark Judgement the reason why is revealed, but for now he is someone that everyone should avoid. Thank you so much for your comment :) x
Aaargh! That can't have helped. I bet Elrond knew Erestor was on his way, too, the sneaky bastard!
Author's Response: Elrond had no idea Erestor would make an appearance - more about his views on Erestor later in the story. Thank you for your comment - I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story :) *Hugs*
Has Erestor really changed, or is he just acting? I feel sorry for Glorfindel who must hope so desperately he has, but can never fully believe it.
Author's Response: That's for you to find out :) Poor Glorfindel - he really should find someone else lol Thank you for your comment - I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story :) *Hugs*
How tragic that Glorfindel loves Erestor so much, yet cannot trust him. If Erestor really has changed it's going to be a daunting task to try and persuade Glorfindel of it.
Author's Response: Has Erestor really changed - I hope so for Glorfindel's sake :) Thank you for your comment - I am pleased you are enjoying the story so much xx
I'm relieved the marriage between Miggins and Erestor wasn't legal. Something tells me the missing woman was 'disappeared' because of her marriage to Miggins. I wonder if she's still alive.
And who is the mystery person in Glorfindel's bed? Eddie's nephew? lol
Author's Response: You are quite perceptive :) Yes who is the mystery person? I know hehehe! Thank you for your comment - I am pleased you are enjoying the story so much xx
I raised my eyebrows at Cherri’s Live Journal name; she was on my friends list and often wrote about Legolas and Aragorn. Her Aragorn was a more pleasant and cleaner character than the real life one, whom I never liked and barely tolerated. He was filthy in appearance and character, and his lack of personal hygiene could take your breath away. He made body odour and greasy hair an art form. Arwen obviously liked to slum it, but Legolas would have kicked his ass if he had come anywhere near him.
I agree. Legolas has far more sense that to let a stinky Aragorn anywhere near him.
Author's Response: I could never see Legolas and Aragorn getting it together :) I am pleased you are enjoying the story and thank you for your comment xx
Cherri has an LJ account? I bet she does write slash. She's probably writing an Erestor/Glorfindel story :D
Author's Response: More about what Cherri writes in the next chapter, but you are right - she does write slash lol I am pleased you are enjoying the story and thank you for your comment xx
Erestor must be a master manipulator for Glorfindel still to have feelings for him all this time later. How awful for Glorfindel that he died just after Erestor said he wished he would die. Strange to see Erestor so frightened, though.
Author's Response: Eresotr was probably frightened because he was about to die horribly - he could give it but not take it. Luckily for him, or was it?, he lived. Erestor is indeed a master manipulator :) I am pleased you are enjoying the story xx
The mystery deepens! At some point Glorfindel's going to have to face Erestor again. I still can't work out why Erestor would want to marry Miggins and I bet Glorfindel's dying to know.
Author's Response: There is a mystery surrounding the marriage of Eresotr and Miggins - read on :) I am pleased you are enjoying the story xx
How sneaky, drugging Glorfindel that way. Erestor is clearly a fiendish mastermind! This gets more and more interesting!
Author's Response: You are absolutely right about Erestor! I am pleased you are enjoying the story xx
Ooh - I can't believe I haven't read this before. I love the start and can't wait to happen what happened between Glorfindel and Erestor in the past. And Erestor married to that vile butler? Uuurgh! I hope Glorfindel decides to help after all.
Author's Response: I wrote this story very early on. When I post new chapters I have to edit each one, so it's a slow process. The butler is absolutely vile - he deserves all he gets - hint hint! I am pleased you are enjoying the story xx
