Most of my teachers were lovely - there were just a couple that were not nice.

I hate hearing about teachers who ruined a child's interest or confidence or curiosity- as a teacher myself, it actually hurts to think how someone has done that. It doesn't happen much now.

I was a very quiet student, easily cowed and very much a loner, nevertheless I was a good student, but he was not a nice teacher :(

Spiced, what a horrible experience about that teacher! That would drive anybody off the subject, I'd imagine.

UnnamedElement, my husband has a doctorate in chemistry, so he might be able to help. *g* Just drop me a note through the PM system here, or at LJ or DW (same name).

Reviews For The Old Forest

This is really great! Elves, especially Wood Elves, certainly have a special affinity for trees don't they? (Though I can see how such actions by the trees, especially Old Man Willow, might be misunderstood by others ... ;)

Thank you so much for sharing this.

Author's Response:

Thank you Alquien - I am so glad you enjoyed this. It's one fo those pieces that really wrote itself and I did very little.

 Love

Zigg

So "lover of the forest" is much more literal than I always thought - but very appropriate for a wood-elf indeed!
I liked your little plot-bunny, as it's so well written, the idea becomes quite the intriguing and sensual story.

Author's Response:

Thank you Tinara- it's always nice to hear something has worked. It just was a little niggle that ld Man Williow might have just been a bit lonely!

What a fun concept, and, as always, so very well written. It seems just right, to me, for a woodelf to behave in exactly that fashion - call it 'becoming one with the forest' perhaps... :)

And if only the hobbits had better understood the needs of the willow...!!

That was beautiful and sensuous, Ziggy! Let's hope Elrohir doesn't find out what Old Man Willow did, or he might burn down the entire forest :)

Author's Response:

Made me laugh, Naledi! Actually you are right- only Elrohir would be jealous of a tree! Having said that, who can blame Old Man Willow- I'd do just the saem but probably not let him go so easily!

xx

Now that was unexpected, but not surprising. Beautiful as all you do.

Author's Response:

Thank you Lisse. So nice of you to say this as I am really struggling to get motivated in this last couple of chapters.

Wow, how can you make this so beautifully erotic, Ziggy? I always wondered about Old man Willow, and how he would respond around wood-Elves. Now I know. This was wonderful!

Author's Response:

Thank you Sian. Glad you enjoyed it- I was grining away when I write it. Did this ages ago and realsied there's stuff I have not posted her. I am really struggling to get on with the next chapter- its almost written but I am worn out wiht work. Only two more chapters so its not beyond me- just got nothing left. Looking for inspiration from you dear!

Author's Response:

Thank you Tamid. As I said, just soppy smut.

Ah, a lovely take on who Old Man Willow really is. This was just the thing for a bucketful of extra strong tea and half a packet of custard creams!! You are going to make me fat!!

Author's Response:

I try to please!

Love

Ziggy
