Hi, Sin! My latest short story and the next one were inspired by this rotten winter weather.

This is why I hate winter, Karlmir. I don't suffer arthritis yet, but I get cold to my bones. We're expecting snow next week :/

I've just posted my latest story. Lots of cold weather here; rain, sleet and snow. My arthritis is killing me. How are you people doing?

This is a bittersweet story but I like the pride and fire that lives in these two lovers.
I like your opening description of Haldir waiting and then the charge of his visitor, it's really magnificently written, simply great cinematic pictures playing in my head while reading it!
Tinara

Author's Response: Thanks Tinara, I appreciate your comments. Feanor is such a larger than life personality I can't imagine even Mandos could tame him. I'm glad you like the opening scene too. I can see the pictures in my head when I'm writing and it's always great to be able to bring it to life.

This came up on the Random story generator and I remember it - loving it and having to read it again. A Wonderful Feanor, in all his defiant glory - his arrival sticks in my head as one of the great scenes in fanfic!

Author's Response: Thanks for your review Ziggy. It's such a great compliment that the scene stuck with you like it did, and I'm glad you like the defiant Feanor. That's what draws me to his character. I appreciate your comments.
