Wow! Congratulations to Alpha Ori, Spiced! I didn't even know she'd written a book. Good for her! Here's hoping she wins many more. What's the name of her book(s)?

Sounds lush, Nelya- I have just taken my horses out in the pouring rain and wind for a quick zip round the lanes-we're all soaked! But happy.

happy Friday all! Thick fog and chilly here today so I am curled up with a cup of tea and a fire in the fireplace. And my favorite pudding so I am a happy girl. Wishing you all happy weekends!

Reviews For Red Sky at Night

This is gorgeous! The language is absolutely stunning.

Until all she was, was flesh and bone, sat in a doorway that someone had once held, that had once grown, that had once lived, and then died all on a red, red night.

What a wonderful, sad ending. Fabulous stuff.

(It shouldn't make me happy to read something so sad, but good writing always makes me happy!)

This is really powerful, Becky, really sorrowful, raw, beautiful.
This time it did not sound beneath her, nor was it above. It was within her. It was her. Her soul had ripped itself from her body and torn open and screamed, into the heavens, into the abyss. All the pain, all the love and the loses, the tears and the laughter, the harsh words and the secrets never told emptied themselves into the red, red sky. And it took it all, everything she had been and had not been was soaked red and empty. Until all she was, was flesh and bone, sat in a doorway that someone had once held, that had once grown, that had once lived, and then died all on a red, red night.
Keep writing!

Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much for reviewing! haha, I try to keep writing, but real life gets in the way too much, stupid reality! And yes, I would love it if you called me Becky btw :) Thank you again!
