I’m doing a lot of bird feeding, Ziggy! And foxes, there are some around and I always feel sorry for them, too. Don’t tell anyone, but there is one poor rat that I feed too

Same here- snowed all day. My shetland pony SO resentful about being outside! My TB happy as a lark- charging about the filed, bucking and rearing. But poor little birds- feed them if you can.

Woke up to a blizzard and about 5 inches of snow, of course it’s drifted so it’s not really that deep

We had a good covering of snow yesterday and it’s still snowing. Really fed up with winter now. As Spiced says, thought, it’s forecast to clear soon.

I know I reviewed this in the past, but not on Faerie. It seems totally wrong to say how much I loved this story when the pain of Legolas is prominent and tears are in my eyes, but there it is. I love this story. I love the hope at the end, the love of Gilroin, and the acknowledgement of Elrond and Erestor that the actions they had condoned by inaction and blind eyes were unworthy of them. I love Erestor's actions of paying for the stories and opening the doors to the garden for Legolas. There was so much to love in this story, pain, neglect and subjugation notwithstanding.

Author's Response: This is probably the saddest story I have written, so I'm pleased that you found things to love in it, especially when so much of it is very dark and tragic. Thank you so much for your review. ((hugs))

You made me cry so much my eyes are sore now, Sam. :( I remember Esteliel's ficlet about Legolas being discarded by Glorfindel, and that upset me so much, too.

Oh, poor Legolas. It really could have been very much worse for him ;__;

Author's Response: Yes, it really could have been a lot worse for Legolas. Thank you for taking the time to review. ((hugs))
