Ysilme, that does sound wonderful, I am so jealous. There's something magical about a really good concert.

I've been to the most wonderful concert yesterday, Swedish Folk string trio Väsen. The music was so beautiful, and it felt so much like Middle-earth, too. (now I need to figure out

Sign of a good fic, if you ask me :)

:D this fic keeps mutating. So far it's sprouted four OCs and an unexpected plot twist which impacts stories that come chronologically later in the series...it's a nightmare but I love it!

Oh :'( so sad. This fic runs the gamut of emotions, and even though it's short it left me feeling drained and tired. Poor Galion.

Author's Response: Thank you. It echoes the two of them digging together in Elflings, and it foreshadows some things in later stories.

First such a great victory, then this crushing, tragic incident - this story is quite the rollercoaster trip!
I love your potrayal of Thranduil and Galion, they are both strong characters and your stories make them seem truly alive.

Author's Response: Thank you! When I write, Galion, in particular, behaves almost as if he has a mind of his own.

Thanks for posting this! I love Thranduil-centered fic that portrays him as a good (and sexy) king. I will come back to this later and read it again with the attention it deserves; I should really be working on an essay now instead of reading fic. :)

Author's Response: Thank you!

Oh I would too! I love youtr Thradnuil- he is just magnificent and wonderful. I have not read this one so it is such a treat. Love the whole of your Thradnuil and Galion stories - a real work of art in my view. I love theri wildness and abandon and sheer unadulterated joy agaisnt hte bloody Noldor. It raises my sense of righteous indignation on behalf of the Greenwood. Now... where's the one where he thumps that Noldo who was so rude about Oropher?

Author's Response: Thranduil thumps the Golodh in chapter two. Not 'thumps' exactly -- just does his passive-aggressive thing. LOL

I had forgotten what a powerful story this is; powerful and tragic and stark, but so beautifully rendered that the tears it evokes are like a benediction.

Author's Response: Thank you! It's been fun revisiting the older stories. Something good came out of ManderFail after all.
