I enjoyed this conversation! I like your take on Erestor.
A neat idea, that the name "Homely House" originated in a Feanorian joke!
Author's Response: Thank you! I really enjoy Erestor. He finds his way into many of my Feanorian stories. And I'm so glad you liked Maedhros' joke about their homely house in their years with Elrond and Elros.

This was really enjoyable, Nelya!
I have to remind myself on a regular basis how mind bogglingly extensive Elrond's background is. It is so easy to forget. I think it has something to do with how relaxed and tolerant in attitude he is. He has made himself and his realm quite accessible to anyone who requires help and in that puts himself forward as more of a friend than a lord.
I really loved your Erestor. Elrond's grumpy voice of reason.
And I love how Elrond, although he won't admit it, openly, still holds out hope that Maglor will turn up one day. Its a little sad that he hasn't heard from him.
A wonderful insight into Elrond's first thoughts on Imladris. Keep going Nelya, I love these little side stories. [Inbetweeners] :)
Author's Response: Thank you! When you sit down and look at his family tree it is incredible. Erestor is one of my favorite secondary characters. I love writing him and he finagles his way into many stories. I've been meaning to add a chapter or two to this with Glorfindel's arrival. I think Elrond thinks of Maglor often. In between stories are my favorites!
