Great scene- very visual and intriguing. So who is this strange Elf and what will happen now that Glorfindel had zapped him??
Thank you again, also for leaving separate reviews to the chapters! I wish I'd had more time to elaborate on the strange Elf's back-story, but the deadline forbid it. Perhaps I'll do it in a prequel or so.
ooh- good hook into the next chapter- great OCs too.
Thank you'! I love bringing OCs into a story, to flesh things out, but I know they're not very popular with most readers.
Oh the joy of this!
Do you really think it is a dragon?”
“What else could it be? A mûmakil with breath so bad it causes hallucinations?”
Glorfindel could not help but laughing out loud at Thranduil’s grumpy comment. His own mood had been more than bleak, but was improving rapidly at the Wood-elven king’s quips.
“I did not know you had a sense of humour.”
Thranduil snorted. “I have a lot of things you have no idea about, Noldo.”
Loads of great bits of humour in this and a wonderful combination of characters")
Yay, thank you so much for this kind comment! This is my favourite part, too, and it was so much fun to write these two together in that way.
