Ysilme, that does sound wonderful, I am so jealous. There's something magical about a really good concert.

I've been to the most wonderful concert yesterday, Swedish Folk string trio Väsen. The music was so beautiful, and it felt so much like Middle-earth, too. (now I need to figure out

Sign of a good fic, if you ask me :)

:D this fic keeps mutating. So far it's sprouted four OCs and an unexpected plot twist which impacts stories that come chronologically later in the series...it's a nightmare but I love it!

This is lovely. I am a cat person, and I really like the legend of Elendil's tabby cat. Also love the idea of cats looking down upon the Elves - too funny!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much. I'm a cat person too. I think cats would look down on anyone including Elves!

This chapter's opening scene caused me to recall my own time in the infantry, sleeping on wet ground in the pouring rain with all sorts of vermin crawling about. Who could blame the rangers for being glad to sleep even in a stable?

Author's Response:

Thank you, I'm delighted my story felt realistic.

Another great little tale.

Aragorn's pursuit of a descent nights sleep seems to elude him and only ends in he and Halbarad back out on patrol. Such is the life of a Ranger.

Such an enjoyable read.

Author's Response:

Thank you, I'm so pleased you enjoyed this.

Such an enjoyable little story!

A great window into the day to day of Aragorn's life as a Ranger.

He had it a little hard, didn't he.

And considering who he is, this is such a contrast. But in saying that it would've only made him a much better King. :)

Author's Response:

Thank you, I'm delighted you enjoyed this. I think Aragorn's hard life helped make him a wonderful king.
