I've been working so hard to get them done, that I'm done in the process.

That sounds like my kind of weekend. Spiced! Hopefully I can have some fics finished for everyone to read. Fingers crossed. :)

Similar I think! It's meant to be cloudy here but no rain forecast so I think a walk to start with, then some writing time

Not really, but the weather is supposed to be quite mild and nice. Probably relax and write and go for a couple of walks. You?

I was going to say the same as Nelya, Karlmir. Do you have a laptop or pc that has a voice activation- don't know what it's called but don't give up writing , whatever you do.

Well, I wasn't expecting that! Gil galad's conclusion! That he is Maedhros' son.

I liked how he went through the possible theories of who could be his father Orodreth or Fingon? And came to the above reasoning all because of who rescued him, made him feel safe and that he had inherited Miriel's silver hair.

Whatever he wishes to believe, whatever makes him happy, right? It can't hurt.

I wonder what Maedhros would make of this?

I would wager he would find it amusing and maybe even assent to it, considering Gil galad has no family left alive and a bonus, he gets a son out of it. :)

This is a very interesting read Urloth. Love it!

Hi there, Urloth! It was so great to hear from you. I'm so glad that my review lifted you up, I truly love supporting other writers, because I know I would like the same.

To tell you the truth I was a little worried about how you would react to my view of Finwe. I didn't want to offend you, or make you feel that I did not like your character, only that this was your more realistic view of him. So I'm really relieved that that is exactly how he was supposed to be.

To this new story, this is a really different spin on Gil galad's humble beginnings, being one of Dior's twin sons that Maedhros rescues.
I've got to say I love Maedhros and the paragraph where there is a flicker of yearning in him, for he remembers holding Celebrimbor many times when he was a baby and then wondering about his own non-existent sons, how different his life might have been, I guess. I felt a little heartbroken for him. He has had it pretty rough!

I have always wanted to explore that myself, in fact I started a story about this very subject of { what if Maedhros had a son?} But I have not written anything to do with it, since the beginning of the year, and this makes me want pick up from where I left off. Anyway enough about me. I hope I'm not babbling on too much.

This is quite an interesting thought, looking forward to seeing where this goes, more of Elurin/Gil galad's journey. :D
