I can understand that SO well, Spiced. I found my way to fanfic in the grieving period for my FIL who did not beat it (he had no chance from the outset, though) and it & the community helped me

What a wonderful idea that Oropher 's charge was a deliberate sacrifice rather being portrayed as the more usual incompetent impatience or deliberate willful disobedience.
A lovely story, woven as deftly as the lady's tapestries. Thank you.

Beautiful, my dear! Simply beautiful!

I don´t think I have ever read  another story where Námo suffers from collecting  fëa  like you described here.

To be honest it is not a concept I have ever thought about, but I really like it.
It gives this often so unapproachable Valar, for lack of a better phrasing, a very "human" side.
His loving relationship with Vairë just adds to that.

I guess I could pine for your story a great while longer, but I have to end this review somewhere.
Just a last question, though. Do you consider making this a series of sorts? Maybe portraying the other Valar? I would be most interested in reading your view of them.

Author's Response: Thank you for your lovely comments :D

I had not thought about making this a series. I think I would have to become a lot more familiar with the Valar before I attempted anything though. Maybe it is something to consider in the future. It is certainly an idea, thank you :)

I am really pleased you enjoyed the story, Fin x.
