Oh no - I hope your cat turns up soon. It's so worrying when a pet goes missing:(

Yes the bit I did was near Ludlow - around the Knighton and Kington sections. I love Ludlow, too!

Thanks, Cheeky. As you've seen, I found it. I'm not long back from a few days walking a section of Offa's Dyke. So tired!

Aaaahh.  A happy ending. Thank you Glorfindel.

re Maitimo- I mean I liove that the cat really was him- I had a suspicion when you said you'd love to tell me about the cat. Love this.xxx

Author's Response: I prefer happy endings :)

Maitimo's name made it so obvious that even if readers did guess they would discount it as improbable lol

I am pleased you enjoyed it and thank you for your lovely comments, Fin x

I can see Elrond," Sauron said. "There's Oropher. Oops, he's seen me. He doesn't look happy."

lol!!

LOve it was Maitimo and he was happy and sweet.

Author's Response: I wonder if the others had elves they would rather avoid after all that time :)

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Oh what an excellent homecoming!  For all of them, including Maitimo!

Author's Response: It was more than any of them expected. I like happy endings. Just one more chapter to go and we are done.

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Hmm - not exactly going to be a glorious home-coming then...  Now, where is Erestor, I wonder?

Author's Response: It might or might not be a glorious homecoming - it all depends on what happens in the next chapter :)

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Poor Lucy - and I can almost feel sorry for Sauron, too!

Author's Response: It is hard to feel sorry for Sauron - his history really does go against him :)

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Tell me tell me! Jumps up and down like Jeli!! Love like Arwen loves Erestor.xxxxx

Author's Response: I am happy to by email?

Name: ziggy (Signed) · Date: April 27, 2014 22:54 · For: Chapter 19 - The Wills

Well. I am disappointed the cats aren't allowed to go too- I think Valinor desrves Maitimo in revenge for the Valar's cruelty to his namesake. I Laughed at the line where Saruon is fed up with being blamed by the Elves.

Looknig forward to the next chapter!!

Author's Response: I so want to tell you about the cats - but you will find out soon enough :)

Poor sauron - it is hard to have sympathy for him lol

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Oh brilliant!! You have this incredibly original imagination- deft stroy-telling. A delight.

Author's Response: Thank you :) I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Maitimo looked on. He was surprised at Maglor asking Tom to join him and wondered how it would affect the outcome of his search for Erestor. He did not ponder for long. In front of him was a rubber chicken impregnated with catnip. His teeth sunk into the toy and he ran off with it. After settling on the back of the settee, under the bedroom cabin window, he chewed on the chicken’s head.

You so should make the cat the star.

Author's Response: I wanted to make Maitimo the star but Maglor sulked and refused to appear in the story at one point lol
I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: ziggy (Signed) · Date: April 24, 2014 23:26 · For: Chapter 10 - Sauron

Oh YEAHHHHH! Sauron -wonderful idea- and Elrond psycho-analysing him.

Sauron hadn’t always been a friend to the elves.

Wonderful understatement:)

But oh, Erestor- you steal my heart and soul and pathetically weak libido EVERY single time....gurgle dribblesigh

Sauron looked up. Erestor stood before him, a vision in skintight black leather, a cruel black spiked whip hanging from his belt and resting against his hip.

Author's Response: Erestor is pretty attractive in this story - Sauron doesn't know just how lucky he was lol
I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: ziggy (Signed) · Date: April 24, 2014 7:51 · For: Chapter 9 - Macalaur

LOVE LOVE LOVE that cat!!!

Brilliant ideas, great hooks into the story.

Author's Response: The cat is a lot of fun :) This is turning out to be quite a twisty turny story, isn't it? I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: ziggy (Signed) · Date: April 24, 2014 7:46 · For: Chapter 8 - The Robbery

Now HE's interesting... gotta be an Elf, smacks of Erestor to me! But it might be too soon to 'reveal'...

Author's Response: The man isn't Erestor but a different person entirely - the reveal will come soon. I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: ziggy (Signed) · Date: April 24, 2014 7:25 · For: Chapter 7 - Providence Island

LOVE that cat!!!

Author's Response: Me too :) It was hard not to give him a bigger part because of how he acts. I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: Merin (Signed) · Date: April 13, 2014 0:10 · For: Chapter 8 - The Robbery
I had a big grin on my face reading about the 'search' of Maglor's house and the excellent little descriptions 'olives stuffed with orange pimento' lol. Love it.

Author's Response: We will meet the burglar quite soon. He is the vary last person George should have done business with lol

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: Merin (Signed) · Date: April 12, 2014 13:14 · For: Chapter 6 - Cornwall
“Well, Maglor is an eminent archaeologist specialising in lost civilisations. Like the ones of old, he probably stole them. hahahaha

Gildor and Lindir seem to have a rather interesting relationship...

Author's Response: There is more about Lindir and Gildor's unusual relationship in later chapters :)

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: ziggy (Signed) · Date: April 11, 2014 11:46 · For: Chapter 6 - Cornwall

well- this is intriguing. I love the snippets of Erestor in the past.

Author's Response: Erestor isn't an elf I would feel comfortable inviting to tea lol

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: Merin (Signed) · Date: April 09, 2014 23:01 · For: Chapter 5 - A New Adventure
Is Erestor now a cat? That is what I want to know! The sneaky so and so...

Author's Response: Erestor is not the cat, although I bet he wishes he was lol

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: ziggy (Signed) · Date: April 09, 2014 13:18 · For: Chapter 5 - A New Adventure

LOve this new fic you are writing and I have to say the cat is brilliant! Just that gorgeous little detail, Maitimo and it is clearly a scruffy, bad tempered malicious beast- but already I love it!

And this is all set for a rollicking good yarn! LOve that you update so quickly- don't know how you do it.

Author's Response: I can update quickly because the story is already written :)

Maitimo is playing an important part in the story - but that will be revealed in the end. It will be a rollicking good yarn - full of baddies, mystery etc.

I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x

Name: curiouswombat (Signed) · Date: April 06, 2014 15:14 · For: Chapter 1 - Prologue

Tolkien would have completed the histories, even though it was left for his son to sort through the papers and cobble them into a book to be published after his father’s death.

Maglor... an elf after my own heart.

Author's Response: It's how I felt as well lol I am pleased you enjoyed it, Fin x
