In three paragraphs you break my heart! Oh Finrod! The way you described the ending of a friendship was so powerfully true, and I agree with you completely that Finrod would have been feeling terribly betrayed by the time he walked out of that hall. It wouldn't have matter if he'd warned Beren before that the Curufin and Celegorm's Oath would be stirred, it still would have hurt to have them standing up against him, throwing coals upon his head like that.
Author's Response: This was from a recent experience of mine and the need to write it down, i thought it would fit quite well with the betrayal of finrod. glad you liked it and the emotion came across. thanks for reviewing means a lot x
