I've been working so hard to get them done, that I'm done in the process.

That sounds like my kind of weekend. Spiced! Hopefully I can have some fics finished for everyone to read. Fingers crossed. :)

Similar I think! It's meant to be cloudy here but no rain forecast so I think a walk to start with, then some writing time

Not really, but the weather is supposed to be quite mild and nice. Probably relax and write and go for a couple of walks. You?

Reviews For Lessons of Birds

Loved this. Loved the comparison between the mindless twittering of the ladies of the court and the assured calmness of Galadriel and how immediately she is shown wanting to do something useful and not inconsequential. I liked the analogy with the birds

Author's Response: Thanks very much. I suspect that mindless prattling continues throughout the courts even unto Lothlorien. Galadriel, having been at the courts in the West would be all too experienced with how inbred the politics can become. I think that was one of the reasons she crossed the Ice. Thank you so much for reading and your very kind and insightful review. - Erulisse (one L)

Being a bird lover this appealed to me very much! An interesting and soulful side of Celeborn, and I can imagine all those court ladies flocking around his handsome self. Nice touch explaining what might have attracted him to his future spouse -- her strength and fierceness, perhaps?

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and commenting. I think what really attracted Celeborn to Galadriel was that she was not interested in actions of no moment, but wanted her actions to count for something. So even though there might have been moonlit walks through the gardens, they would more likely be talking strategies while admiring the oleanders. Thanks again... - Erulisse (one L)
