Oh my. There aren't words for how happy this story made me. A Fell Lamborghini...I can only imagine what that looks like! And fuzzy pink Gothmog slippers - just genius. Many thanks, Bard.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your comments Narya! I wrote this for a prompt (well several prompts actually) and thought it would be fun to see what the Witch-king might be up to if he was still around. I'm glad it gave you a laugh. :-)
I enjoyed the hell out of this, Igbee. So many details that made me giggle. (fluffy pink slippers, sauronsmokeskhamuls LOLOL, the shrinking gloves) I'd love to see the Witch King's reaction to Firefoot's story where he reveals that he's been steadily shrinking the size of the Witchking's jockstrap. And he thought it was due to the Extense pills he got from Saruman. Curse those wizards anyway.
Thanks for the laugh on a gray, rainy day.
Author's Response: And thanks so much for your comments, Elfscribe. I'm glad you liked Khamul's screen name, he's such a cut up. I also love the shrinking jockstrap and Extense pills lol! Wish I'd thought of that. Maybe you can write the sequel. *wicked grin*
This made me laugh so much. Love the idea of the Witch King in his dressing gown and slippers. The bit about an initially unwilling Legolas (my italics) made me chuckle. It's amazing what Legolas is able to get used to in fanfic, isn't it!
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed this, Naledi and especially the part about Legolas. He *is* certainly the resilient type. Either that or he's just easy. :-) Thanks so much for your comments.
I laughed at the parts about Sauron's gloves and the bloodless pressure. In fact, I really enjoyed all of it :D
Author's Response: The idea of a practical joker Nazgul with Sauron as the butt of the joke amused me so I thought it might be good for a laugh. These short silly pieces are always fun to write. Thanks for your comments.
Brilliantly funny- made me laugh all the way through, from the fluffy pillows and Gothmog slippers, to Firefoot's fanfic notebook! So many great ideas and witty observations.
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Ziggy, I'm glad you found so many things to like in this one. It's always fun to put serious characters in these silly situations. :-)
