I suppose they'd have a heart attack if I told them I'm writing fanfic in English these days. *g*

experience like you, Alpha, but with English: two English teachers told me I should try to get a job where I wouldn't need foreign languages as they judged me too little giftd in languages.

My father was a maths teacher, too, which wasn't always easy for me, *g* - my classmates considered it as uncool in a major way to be daugther of a maths teacher. And I made a similar

Wow- Naledi- you were Maths!! I am an English teacher and so agree. I am so careful - don't always get it right but try to make sure every interaction is positive.

I was a maths teacher too! A really soul-destroying job sometimes, because many children arrived at school already afraid of the subject.

It is sad how a bad teacher can make a child's time at school a misery. When I was teaching I was very conscious that even the most casual, throwaway comment could wound.

I still remember my maths teacher. Pasty faced and smelled of onions. I was traumatised, especially when he told my parents the only thing I was good at was sports.

Most of my teachers were lovely - there were just a couple that were not nice.

I hate hearing about teachers who ruined a child's interest or confidence or curiosity- as a teacher myself, it actually hurts to think how someone has done that. It doesn't happen much now.

I love happy endings! Sauron's choice to save Glorfindel shows just how far he has come, but it is good to know he still hoped the elves he knocked down were hurt! It's worrying that Feanor recreated the silmarils. I hope he destroys them but I doubt he will.

Author's Response: I expect Manwe will come in the dead of night and take those new Silmarils so the residents of Aman can have a peaceful life. Sauron really has changed but I think he would deny he has come as far as we know he has.

Thank you so much for your comments for every chapter in this story. You made my day every time you commented! I am so pleased you enjoyed the story :)

I always thought Frodo was a drama queen. It's good to have Elrond confirm my theory!

I hope Glorfindel gets help soon. It sounds like things are about to get nasty :(

Author's Response: Me too - he always seemed like one. Poor Glorfindel lol Thank you for your comment - I am so pleased you are enjoying the story :)

It seems like half the elves in Valinor are complete fruit loops, while the other half are just bonkers!

Author's Response: It does, doesn't it lol Thank you for your comment - I am so pleased you are enjoying the story :)

Thank goodness Varda arrived. But Sauron needs to work out what to do about his boredom. A bored Dark Lord is a dangerous thing!

Author's Response: Sauron has limited options - he dreams of being dangerous but even he knows it's never going to be a reality. Thank you for your comment - I am so pleased you are enjoying the story :)

Oh no - this looks bad...

I'm also worried that Varda is listening to Nienna's pleas. Things could get ugly if she lets Nienna out of the void.

Author's Response: I think Nienna would be much chastened - but I expect she wont get out anyway lol Thank you for your comment - I am so pleased you are enjoying the story :)

Eek - Sauron better keep his hands off Legolas. Legolas might be a barking mad bimbo, but he's still gorgeous!

Author's Response: A gorgeous barking mad bimbo lololol Thank you for your comment - I am so pleased you are enjoying the story :)

Uuurg! Saruman and Gandalf, complete with an old man fetish? *shudders*

That look of disgust was a bad move on Glorfindel's part. I dread to think how Sauron's going to repay him.

Author's Response: I know! Who could believe they were into such stuff lol Thank you for your comment - I am so pleased you are enjoying the story :)

Stupid auto-correct! I don't know why it changed 'fea' to 'FEMA'. I don't even know what FEMA is!

Author's Response: I knew what you meant - autocorrect has done similar things to me as well. *Hugs*

Ah! So Sauron can love more than just Maglor! There's hope for him yet.

It's sad that Erestor has to go through this whole charade to be with his soul mate. I hope they'll eventually be able to be honest with each other.

What does Sauron have against blonds, btw? Are there any blonds who aren't bimbos in his opinion? LOL

Author's Response: Sauron is changing - even though he would wholeheartedly deny it lol I don't think he hates blonds per se, but Glorfindel is significantly blond and he doesn't see him as worthy of Erestor. I doubt he ever will lol. I am so pleased you are enjopying the story - thank you for your comments :)

I'm beginning to think these memory wipes are causing more trouble than they're worth. It looks like the minute something gets too difficult, the Valar just order the memories of the elves concerned be altered, because that's so much easier than working to heal and resolve the problems. We shall see...

Author's Response: The same thought ocurred to me. Just when will this memory business end! I am so pleased you are enjopying the story - thank you for your comments :)

Hmmm....I'm not convinced about Sauron's version of the ring quest, lol!

Author's Response: It does sound decidedly fishy lol I am so pleased you are enjoying the story. Thank you for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 08, 2017 1:26 · For: Dark Judgement

Oh no - if Erestor feels drawn to Glorfindel already, I wonder if Glorfindel's FEMA recognises him?

Feanor doesn't seem to have learned his lesson. Making oaths, forging jewels imbued with light....Not good!

Author's Response: I think Glorfindel's fea might recognise Erestor, but I doubt the message is being relayed to Glorfindel's conscious mind. Feanor seems to do what he likes lol Hopefully, it won't end in tears! I am so pleased you are enjoying the story. Thank you for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 05, 2017 17:09 · For: Dark Judgement

Lololol! Where did Erestor learn to call Glorfindel a blond bimbo? Feanor is a complete fruit loop, isn't he! I'm not convinced spending time with him is a good way to ensure Erestor's rehabilitation!

Author's Response: I expect Sauron told him about bimbos - as soon as he could comprehend probably. You think Feanor is crazy - wait until you read about Legolas lol Thank you for your lovely comments - I am so pleased you are enjoying the story :)

I hope the easing of Maglor's guilt does the trick. It's a shame that child rearing has put a strain on the relationship.

Author's Response: Child rearing tends to put a strain on many relationships, but I think you will see a change in Maglor. Thank you for your wonderful comments - I am pleased you are still enjoying the story :)

The toilet now has a rather stunning painting of the twit elves following the obsessive idiot, Fëanor, and his barking mad ionen, to a hopeless life trying to fulfil an oath that had no chance of success anyway. Now Maglor's family can watch him take a shit!

Lololol! That's enough to give anyone constipation!

So now Sauron's going to be a daddy! Will he ask Erestor to call him daddy Dark Lord?

Author's Response: I bet Maglor uses a different toilet from now on lol Sauron will go on about Dark Lords to Erestor but I think he will just call him 'Ada'. I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story - thank you for your lovely comments :)

Well, death wasn't quite the turning point I had in mind, but at least this way Erestor will be purged of Melkor's seed. I wonder what he will be like?

Author's Response: Death is a release for Erestor - one that I am sure his part of his mind welcomes. I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story - thank you for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 04, 2017 0:26 · For: Dark Judgement

Maybe this will be a turning point for Erestor. Up until this moment I was sceptical of any changes Erestor was showing. But this would be hard to feign.

Author's Response: It will be a massive turning point for Erestor - I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story - thank you for your lovely comments :)

It looks as though Sauron got away with it! Let's hope Manwe doesn't think too deeply about what happened.

Author's Response: Sauron does seem to need a bit of good luck at the moment. I bet he was extremely relieved lol I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story - thank you for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 03, 2017 17:58 · For: Dark Judgement

I hope for everyone's sake Manwe never discovers what just happened!

What's going to happen when Lorien accompanies Sauron in his dreams? Intriguing!

Author's Response: Sauron never writes about Lorien in his dreams, apart from that one instance - maybe he doesn't want to tell or maybe Lorien didn't bother to look at his dreams. I like to think it was the former lol I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story - thank you for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 03, 2017 17:47 · For: Dark Judgement

Because he had treated me with suspicion, accusing me of lying to him several days before, I thought it would be a mistake to tell him everything they said.

That's very twisted logic from Sauron! Wouldn't it be better to tell Maglor the truth?

Anyway, we finally get to find out the motivations behind Manwe's behaviour. Now I dread to think what Sauron is going to replace Manwe's memories with. Assuming he's able to alter a vala's memories...

Author's Response: Sauron doesn't have much leeway with Manwe's memories - Varda can tell every change he makes, so he has to behave himself. I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story - thank you for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 03, 2017 17:39 · For: Dark Judgement

I hope that if the elfling Erestor drowned is reborn in Valinor, he's kept away from water and only allowed to drink from a sealed bottle through a straw, lol!

Author's Response: I found it quite amusing - how unlucky can an elf be lol I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story - thank you for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 03, 2017 15:48 · For: Dark Judgement

It sounds a bit like Erestor's conscience is starting to awaken. There again, it could be a ploy to fool Sauron. I wonder if Sauron's conscience will ever grow enough to make him sorry for what he did to people other than Maglor?

I think Manwe's memories could do with some tampering, if it were possible to change a Vala's memory. Maybe if his memories of Saron's fling with Varda were removed, he would treat Sauron better?

Author's Response: Erestor is full of ploys so I wouldn't put it past him. I doubt Sauron will ever truly repent - but would we want him to? I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story - thank you for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 03, 2017 12:07 · For: Dark Judgement

I hope the garden helps Erestor's state of mind - it's clear that torture won't achieve anything.

Author's Response: We can always hope - and yes, I am being enigmatic :) I am so pleased you are still enjoying the story. Thank you so much for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 03, 2017 11:23 · For: Dark Judgement

Well, thank goodness for Namo and Varda! But who'd have thought Varda would take such pleasure in Erestor's embarrassing fake memories!

Author's Response: Yes lol Varda is a bit of a surprise, isn't she lol I am pleased you are enjoying the story. Thank you so much for your lovely comments :)

Name: Naledi (Signed) · Date: March 03, 2017 11:13 · For: Dark Judgement

How horrific! I can't see that Sauron will ever trust Manwe after that. I think Manwe's made a huge mistake :(

Author's Response: You are right - Sauron will never trust him again, he will only fear what he can do while despising him. If anything, it should be a lesson to Sauron that torture doesn't work.
